Privacy Policy

Recipe prompts. When you create a recipe infographic, the text you enter (e.g. “make me a lasagna al forno”) is sent to our AI provider to generate your infographic. This data is transmitted to process your request and is not stored on our servers.

Generated infographics. The infographic images generated by AI are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not upload or store your infographics on remote servers.

Usage data. We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking data beyond what Apple may collect through the App Store platform.

The recipe text you provide is used solely to generate your requested infographic. It is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter, which routes requests to Google’s Gemini models) for image generation and is not stored, sold, or shared for any other purpose.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond fulfilling your in-app requests.

Recipe Canvas uses the following third-party services to function:

• OpenRouter — We route AI generation requests through OpenRouter. Your recipe prompts are sent to OpenRouter’s API to facilitate image generation. Please review OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini — AI image generation is performed by Google’s Gemini models (accessed via OpenRouter). Please review Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store — Distribution and any in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Please review Apple’s Privacy Policy.

All infographics you create are stored locally on your device using SQLite on-device storage. This data does not leave your device and is not accessible to us.

We do not maintain user accounts, and we do not store any personally identifiable information on our servers.

Recipe Canvas is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is generally no personal data for us to retrieve, modify, or delete on your behalf. All recipe infographics and data reside on your device and can be deleted at any time by deleting the app.
